Twitter has suspended Steve Bannon’s War Room: Pandemic account, which promoted the popular podcast with audio and video clips from the show. The social media service did not provide an explanation for the suspension.
War Room: Pandemic was launched in January, as many politicians and the media were still consumed with the impeachment story.
The show has played host to leading experts including Dr. Steven Hatfill, Bill Gertz, as well as anti-Chinese Communist Party dissidents.
Co-hosts Steve Bannon, Jason Miller, Raheem Kassam, and Jack Maxey provide breaking news updates and analysis on the coronavirus pandemic. The show has been lauded by the mainstream media as one of the first shows out there on the subject matter.
The show airs daily at 10am-12pm on the John Fredricks Radio Network, AmericasVoice.news, and other distribution partners across the United States.
A spokesman from the War Room explained: “If the CCP has that much impact on Jack Dorsey’s team and their decisions they should come out and say so outright. That’s the only explanation. We don’t promote fake news or conspiracy theories. We simply point the fingers of responsibility squarely at the Chinese Communist Party.â€
War Room podcasts have received nearly 6 million podcast downloads and has been streamed millions of more times across YouTube, Facebook, Periscope, and beyond.
The show consistently ranks within the top podcasts in the United States, and is further subtitled in Mandarin and blasted through China’s firewalls into mainland China later on each day.
