Gaetz: The Republican Conference is a ‘Joke’

Rep. Matt Gaetz blasted the Republican establishment in an interview with War Room, saying D.C. is “two parties, one scam.”

“We cannot fight it on the home turf of the establishment inside the beltway,” Gaetz said.

Fresh off his trip to Cheyenne, Wyoming trying to kick Liz Cheney out of leadership, Gaetz called the Republican conference a “joke.”

“All we have is messaging,” Gaetz said. “So if the leading person carrying the message is less popular with Republicans than Muammar Gaddafi was in Libya the day he was removed” we have problems.

Gaetz said he’s not going to back down in his battle against the establishment in both parties.

“If they’re coming for us we’re coming for them,” he said.
