Penny Nance, of Concerned Women for America, explains the grassroots fight against the perfectly Orwellian-named “Equality Act.â€
“It redefines sex to mean not sex at all,†she said. “If you simply identify as a woman — with no surgery, or no plans for it to be permanent — you can identify as a woman at any moment and demand entrance into our safe spaces. Into our locker rooms, our restrooms, onto our women’s sports teams.”
“If you dare to say you don’t agree with that…then you have the full weight of the state against you,” she said.
Stephen K. Bannon called Nance the “tip of the spear” in combating the radical Biden regime’s pursuit to transform society.
Nance said the bill, which recently passed the House, will likely stall in the Senate — if Joe Manchin and others are pressured by constituents.
“Although it sounds very nice it is very detrimental to women,” Nance said. The bill would destroy the definition of sex, women’s opportunities in sports, and put girls’ locker rooms at risk.
“This is an opportunity to explain how completely morally bankrupt the left is,” Nance said. “They don’t follow the science.”Â
