Mark Meadows Reveals How President Trump Reacted to Fauci Funding the Wuhan Lab

Mark Meadows revealed internal West Wing conversations during his time as chief of staff that refute the narrative spun by Dr. Tony Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx.

The bureaucrats appeared on CNN Sunday to rewrite history of the pandemic response they were intimately involved in. Meadows joined War Room to set the record straight.

“Fauci had another bald faced lie, where he says about China, ‘Yeah, we never trust them,'” said Stephen K. Bannon.

“He was funding them!” said Meadows. “His NIH was funding the Wuhan lab. It gets reported, the President calls me and says, ‘Why are we spending hard working American taxpayer dollars to the Wuhan lab? Cut it off immediately.'”

“But yeah, of course they have to say it didn’t come from there .” Meadows said. “Because they were funding part of the research.”

“They were funding the most dangerous part: the gain of function research,” Bannon said.

Meadows revealed President Trump was shocked that taxpayer dollars were going to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, and quickly moved to defund it. Dr. Fauci was behind the NIH funding of the Wuhan lab’s gain of function research.

“I was learning much of this from public reports,” Meadows said. “And guess who was on the phone with me at 10 o’clock one night, actually at 10:17 p.m. I jotted down a note. And before midnight it was stopped. President Trump.”

“And until President Trump took action [Fauci] had never come forward and told anybody? Bannon asked.

“No, absolutely not,” Meadows said.

“It tells you everything you need to know about Fauci’s character,” Bannon said.

Meadows said President Trump also quickly cut off funding to the World Health Organization, which is now colluding with the CCP to cover up the origins of the coronavirus.

“The Chinese government and the WHO are working together to write the report,” Meadows said, which will falsely claim the virus came from a wet market.

“I just find this deplorable,” he said.

“Of course they had to say it didn’t come from [the Wuhan lab],” Meadows said. “They were funding it.” 

“They covered this up and American citizens died because they covered it up,” Meadows said of the Chinese Communist Party.

Meadows said the WHO was “nothing more than a front person for the Chinese government.”
