“On Veterans Day, one of the guys who was trying to drink some coffee, make a phone call, one of the guards came in and said, “Wear a mask.” He was sipping coffee, so he didn’t put the mask on and a massive fight broke out. Corrections officers maced this man three times in his face. A little bit of a fight broke out in the jail. The entire pod where all of these men are housed was filled with mace. We had five guys taken out for medical, one was taken out on a stretcher. … So this is what they’re dealing with.”
