Many issues are plaguing our great nation right now. Inflation continues to increase at a rate we haven’t seen in decades. Store shelves are empty as Americans battle the largest COVID surge to date. And unvetted illegal migrants are crossing our border in larger numbers than we have seen in years. All these problems prove one very important fact: Elections have consequences. So it should be no surprise when I say election integrity above all else is the biggest issue facing America.
Every problem that Americans nationwide are facing today is a result of poor leadership from Joe Biden and his weak administration. President Donald Trump handed Biden the greatest economy our nation has ever seen. Yet after only one year in office, Biden and his administration have managed to destroy all the progress we made as a united front in President Trump’s four years in office. America would not be in this predicament right now if we could trust our elections.
Regardless of what the mainstream media may say, I fully believe Donald Trump would still be president today if elected officials in states like Georgia, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin were faithful to the men and women who elected them to office in the first place. President Trump should still be in the White House guiding America to a prosperous future. I have no doubt that President Trump comfortably defeated Biden in 2020. In fact, I think all these states should decertify their results from the 2020 presidential election.
It was the job of the elected officials in these states to ensure their elections were secure and safe. But rather than provide confidence to Americans that their votes mattered, our nation’s elected officials turned a blind eye and allowed corrupt political activists to turn our election process into a trainwreck. This is precisely the reason why I decided to run for office.
I personally knew exactly what was happening the minute that these so-called swing states began sending mail-in ballots to most of their residents. If voter identification was required and Americans who were physically able had to show up in person to cast their ballots, Donald Trump would still be president today. And trust me. If corrupt political activists can steal a neighboring state like Georgia, they can steal any state in the South – including South Carolina.
The situation is so bad in Georgia that the state actually started investigating claims of ballot harvesting from the 2020 presidential election earlier this month. If Georgia had real leadership, the investigation would have occurred before the results of the 2020 election were even certified. But the fact that an investigation is occurring shows the American people that they have a real reason to worry.
That is why election integrity is so important, and it is an issue that must be fixed at the state level. If we hope to have a fair shot at re-electing President Trump in 2024 or another Republican candidate if he chooses not to run, states must enact new laws ensuring the integrity of their elections so that history does not repeat itself. What happened in the last election is nothing short of an embarrassment, and we cannot allow the United States to become a laughingstock on the global stage for a second time.
States like Georgia, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin need to pass better election laws to ensure the security and integrity of our elections. If they don’t, then I fear our nation may not have much of a future. However, states that we may view as safe like South Carolina need to pass laws ensuring the integrity of their elections as well. We never know when corrupt political activists may do to our state what they did to Georgia. It’s unfortunately a real possibility. But the future of our nation isn’t only in the hands of our elected officials.
The American people – including in my great state of South Carolina – must elect officials who will have their best interests in mind. We must elect people who will ensure the integrity of our elections and ensure that every American has a voice going forward. That’s exactly why I am running for the House in South Carolina. I no longer believe Rep. Tom Rice has the interests of his district in mind anymore. He proved that when he joined Democrats to vote to impeach President Trump.
Does anyone think a politician like Mr. Rice has any interest in securing the integrity of our nation’s elections? I personally don’t have any reason to believe he does. If the people of South Carolina’s seventh district vote for me as our next representative in Congress, I promise to fight tooth and nail at the federal level to protect the integrity of our elections against Democrats or anyone else willing to put our nation at risk. We have already seen Democrats in Congress attempt to destroy our elections once this year. And I will certainly work with elected officials at the state level to ensure South Carolina never becomes the next Georgia.
