Matthew Tyrmand: Sweden’s Nationalist Party has Mainstreamed the Populist Right Movement

Matthew Tyrmand talks to host Steve Bannon about the weekend elections in Sweden that saw the nationalist parties increase their power and get close to the point where they will be able to form a government.

“Right now, the [Swedish Democrats] are ahead… Right now the Parliament would be 176 on the right and 173 on the left… They’ve still got the ex-pat ballots to still. tabulate. The ex-pats have historically been conservative, and been on the right. If that holds, this is a cataclysmic victory [that will shock the world].”
