Mark Mitchell of Rasmussen and Alex DeGrasse of Team Elise both see a surge of support among Republicans heading into the midterm elections. Although the two parties are essentially tied in the generic ballot, there are good signs for Republicans. Rasmussen sees an 8 percent edge for Republicans in voter enthusiasm. DeGrasse points out that Republicans were down on generic polls in 2020 and still flipped 50 seats toward the GOP in the House.
